We are selling our olive oil mill business, located in the Marche region near the seaside tourist town of San Benedetto del Tronto, in a quiet yet strategically positioned area.
Due to retirement and a lack of succession within the family, we are offering this historic business, established in 1956, for sale.
Included in the sale:
a warehouse of approximately 230 square meters where we currently process olives in brine.
a building with a ground floor that includes an artisanal/commercial space of about 250 square meters used for the milling process, oil sales, and storage. On the first floor, there is a residence of about 160 square meters (currently occupied by us and maintained in excellent condition). The second floor has a habitable attic.
external courtyards totaling about 500 square meters.
a three-phase continuous mill with a capacity of 1 ton per hour (perfectly maintained).
an electric forklift with a bin rotator for handling olives.
a truck for transporting olives with a useful load capacity of 13 tons.
a van for oil deliveries with a total load capacity of 3,5 tons.
Various equipment typical of an olive oil mill, including stainless steel tanks with a total capacity of 25 tons, is thermally controlled and under an inert atmosphere.
The sale obviously includes goodwill, which consists of decades of customer loyalty, primarily from the local area and northern Italy. We are available for potential assistance during a transition period as well as to transfer the knowledge of the trade (68 years of activity, numerous national quality awards in recent years; see awards at www.frantoio.it).
The main activity is the production and sale of extra virgin olive oil, but we also provide services for third parties (last season: €20 per 100 kg).
We have always carefully selected olives directly from olive growers, primarily from the Abruzzo region.
In recent years, the processing of purchased olives to produce oil for our loyal customers has been around 160 to 170 tons annually.
