SUPPORT AND TRAINING

You will join our friendly and proactive team who are always there to support you. Our initial training includes the following certifications:

Some training is online, and you will also attend an intensive business training weekend. This is followed by regular one-to-one mentoring and three months of monitoring and aiding your progress. We also operate our award-winning intranet, LingoHub, which provides access to all back-of-office functions, from class booking to financial data.

FRANCHISEE EXPECTATIONS

We will work with you to create a bespoke business plan tailored to your needs and aspirations. Then, we will become your cheerleading squad to help you reach those goals. There is no typical day with Lingotot!

Some mornings, you may teach a preschool language class full of smiles and laughter before moving on to visit a nursery for some language-learning fun. In the afternoons, you may teach in a primary school in place of the class teacher, followed by a session running an after-school club or managing your team to deliver sessions.

You will need to spend some of your time on marketing, networking and admin. As your business grows, you can take on staff to help scale your business. We will help you with this transition every step of the way. Mornings can include classes in nurseries or the community. In the afternoons, evenings and on weekends, you can teach extracurricular clubs and, on school holidays, lead holiday camps.

NINE LANGUAGE EXCELLENCE

Lingotot first started franchising in 2011 with the launch of our first pilot units. We released franchises UK-wide in 2012 and now boast a network of over 130 franchisees and tutors. We operate multi-language support for nine languages:

WHERE WE SHINE

We are a member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) and the only children’s language franchise to offer teaching qualifications for staff accredited by a UK Ofsted-regulated awarding body, in addition to qualifications for our children.

Lingotot specialises in providing high-quality language education for children through interactive and engaging methods. We teach in the community and nurseries. However, our greatest demand is for our services in schools where languages are a compulsory part of the curriculum. However, most primary schools don’t have teachers who speak languages!

And speaking of languages, we teach NINE! We are the only children’s language franchise to venture into so many languages, and when you join us, you access them all. We are the only organisation of our kind to offer primary language qualifications for children in the UK AND teaching qualifications for our teachers.

Our work positively impacts the community by fostering cultural understanding and supporting initiatives like Lingotot Friends Together, which helps Ukrainian families settle in the UK, and Lingotot Generations, which brings language learning to children, their parents and older people.
